Austria Read To Host FM4 Frequency Festival

This year’s FM4 Frequency Festival is tipped to be one of biggest music festivals ever hosted on Austrian soil boasting an amazing line-up from rock to hip hop and everything in between.

The festival is currently hosted at Green Park St, Sankt Pölten, the capital City of Lower Austria. Prior to 2009 it was hosted in Salzburg.

With the ever increasing price of UK festival prices, people are now travelling across Europe to lesser known festivals which attract similar line-ups just without the extra cost overhead. It seems festival goers are also taking advantage of cheap flights from UK airports combined with cheap airport parking services at airports such as Liverpool, Edinburgh and Manchester.

Each year the festival attracts thousands of local music fans and welcomes an ever increasing international community of festival goers from across Europe looking for something different to the current mainstream music festivals in the UK.

When the festival first started in 2001 only around six artists played across the stages but this will be the 10th Frequency festival and boasts a fantastic line-up from ex Libertines lead guitarist Carl barat through to rock band the kills.

Official festival dates are the 18th and 20th of August 2011.
